HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
Submit your films before Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 23:59 GMT
STEP 1: DIRECT YOUR FILM
WRITE
your screenplay.
SHOOT
your film with a mobile or a tablet.
The sound can be from an external source.
EDIT
Special effects, sequence shots, etc.
Have fun with creating your film.
The rule: 1 minute maximum, credits included!
All music must be royalty-free!
Do not include subtitles in your film!
STEP 2: REGISTER YOUR FILM
SUBMIT YOUR FILM
Fill out the registration form (link) and
uploadez upload your film
Before Tuesday, April 4 at 23h59 GMT !
The name of the video file must not contain
special characters.
CONFIRM
Congratulations! You will receive an e-mail
confirming your registration.
(Don’t forget to check your spam !)
STEP 3: ADD SUBTITLES TO YOUR FILM
If you indicated on your registration form that your film contained dialogue and/or text that needs subtitling, please complete the following steps:
LOG INTO DOTSUB'S VIDEOTMS
You will receive an email from Dotsub’s VideoTMS to create your account and password.
Within 72 hours, you will receive a second email from Dotsub’s VideoTMS inviting you to subtitle your film. You can then start to add subtitles to your film.
ADD SUBTITLES
to your film in the original language of the film.
(eg : Subtitle in Akan if the actors are speaking
Akan) before April 06, 2023 GMT
STEP 4: OFFICIAL SELECTION & ONLINE FESTIVAL
